I offer the kind of support I wish I’d had when I lost my own parents. That experience changed everything for me—and it’s why I’m so passionate about walking with others through the chaos and complexity that can follow a loss. 


After-Loss Support at a Glance


I provide compassionate, hands-on help to support executors or family members managing the practical and logistical tasks of closing out a life. From clearing out the home to notifying agencies and organizing paperwork, I’ll help carry the load, so you don’t have to do it all alone.


I work in partnership with your attorney and other trusted professionals—focusing on the day-to-day logistics while they handle the legal and financial matters. This collaborative approach ensures nothing slips through the cracks and helps you move forward with less stress and more peace of mind.


I’ve completed the PALS 6-week training program for After-Loss Professionals, and bring a deeply personal commitment to every family I work with.

IMMEDIATELY AFTER A LOSS

The days after a loss can feel like a fog of decisions and to-dos. I help lighten the load with compassionate, practical support—so the essential details don’t fall through the cracks.


Guidance & Coordination

I can step in as a single point of contact, coordinating with the funeral home, florist, or other vendors so you don’t have to manage endless phone calls and details.


Paperwork & Organization
I’ll help locate, sort, and organize important documents so the right information is at hand when it’s needed.


Companionship & Support
Sometimes you simply don’t want to go alone. Whether it’s attending appointments with you, helping rally family and friends, or just being present, I provide steady support in those first difficult days.


Notary Services
When legal paperwork needs to be signed quickly, I offer mobile notary services throughout Hampton Roads (Chesapeake, Norfolk, Virginia Beach).

AFTER THE FUNERAL

Once the service is over, the next phase begins—and it’s often where overwhelm really sets in.  Settling an estate can take months, sometimes more than a year, all while you’re still working, caring for family, and managing your own life. I provide steady, hands-on help to manage the home, the paperwork, and all the moving parts.  

 

Practical Details

There’s a long list of small but essential tasks that follow a loss—canceling services, notifying agencies, managing mail and bills, and handling digital accounts or devices. I make sure these details don’t slip through the cracks, so you can focus on what matters most.


Property & Belongings

From a single closet to an entire estate, I help you work through belongings with care and efficiency. Together we can manage family distribution, donations, clean-outs, and estate sales.  I’ll also create an tangible personal property inventory for probate or fair division, and keep an eye on the home until it’s sold or transitioned.

Bringing in the Right Team

Settling an estate usually involves multiple players—attorneys, realtors, estate sale experts, contractors. I’ll coordinate vendors on your behalf and connect you with trusted professionals when you need them, keeping everything on track without adding to your stress.

The Executor Support Package: 3-Session Guidance

Practical support to walk you through the logistics of closing out a life.

Serving as an executor is one of the most taxing roles you will ever take on. While your attorney handles the legal filings, the "boots on the ground" logistics—notifying institutions, managing accounts, and overseeing the physical property—often fall entirely on you. 

 

The Executor Support Package is a focused 3-session partnership designed to move you from panic to a plan. We work together to prioritize your next steps and ensure no detail is overlooked.


Focus Areas Include:


  • The Situational Audit: We conduct a comprehensive intake to identify what has been done and what is pending, ensuring you have a clear map of the road ahead.


  • Accounts Review: We work with you to uncover active accounts, locate insurance policies, and identify recurring bills to stop unnecessary "leaks" immediately. 


  • Communication & Tracking: Setting up your Communication Log to centralize every call, contact, and follow-up from day one.


  • Home & Contents Logistics:  We create a plan for the physical home and its contents, helping you prioritize the "stuff" and manage the day-to-day logistics of the home, and connect you with trusted resources to prepare the property for sale.  Need help specifically with sorting a loved one's belongings?   • Document & Records Organization:  We audit your essential document list and create a structured filing system so your estate records are organized and easily accessible for your attorney or heirs.
